Kaffeboken to Gourmand World Cookbook Award

On November 23, 2017. KAFFEBOKEN, perhaps the world's most comprehensive book on coffee, won the Swedish Academy Cuisine Award as the best in its category.

The Coffee Book now qualifies for the Gourmand World CookBook Award, also known as Gourmand International, the global competition for books on food and drink. The competition was started and run by M. Edouard Cointreau from France since 1995. On their website, themselves write that the price is compared to the film's Oscar, and “with an atmosphere like the Olympic Games”. Every year the year's best of food and drink publications, printed, digital or television is awarde. 2018 the World Final ceremony will take place in Yantai, China, during May.
