The last shooting are now done for the movie Balloons over Babylon. The production began in 2013. The film now shows an Iraq very few have seen.

The main character in the film says that the people in the western world have only seen the 20 bad percentages of Iraq, bombs, ruins and terrorism. “I want to show the world the 80 percent of Iraq they have not seen”. And he do so by launching a spectacular project by inviting the world's most professional and experienced balloon pilots to an adventure they have never seen.

This film is a production of FRP, Folke Rydén Produktion, where I wrote synopsis, treatment and has been director and co-director on site in Iraq on three occasions, and in Sweden and Holland. The film will be broadcast on SVT and internationally. The very first screening for an invited audience, before the final cut, have now been performed at Filmhuset in Stockholm.
